Looks Like Rob Zombie’s New Film 31 Will Be NC-17

Anyone who is a fan of Rob Zombie’s films knows they straddle the line between horror and outright torture porn. I’m not saying torture porn is a bad thing, but the more you ratchet up the violence and higher the chance a film won’t be accepted by the masses. Zombie sent out a tweet earlier in the week expressing his frustration on the matter.

Sure the theaters shouldn’t ban a film just because it has the tainted NC-17 branding, but let’s face it, when your entire industry is built on the backs of teenagers working part-time then policing the audience isn’t something theater managers want to get into. Not to mention ‘Bizarre Sexuality/Nudity.’ WTF does that mean?

Animated Hills Have Eyes Prequel Is In The Works?

Will Rob Zombie Have A Lot To Look Forward Too?

Zombie, who is currently finishing production on his upcoming Halloween horror film 31, is reportedly writing an animated prequel to the movie The Hills Have Eyes.

No one knows at the moment is this is true or just internet bullshit. Hopefully the former. All the same, the artwork on +Justin Gray and +Jimmy Palmiotti’s graphic novel The Hills Have Eyes: The Beginning, is stunning and would look wonderful on my flatscreen.

Horror Story - The Hills Have Eyes origin tale that ties into remake of horror movie.

Rob Zombie. Clowns. Halloween. Of Course

Bloody Disgusting is reporting that Rob Zombie’s new film 31 will center around a group of people kidnapped in the days leading up to Halloween. Of course they will, because Halloween is the only time people dress up as clowns and kidnap people I suppose.
Zombie has also decided to crowd-source the movie, so if you want some input or an executive producer credit then break out the checkbook.
Concept art is cool, but are looking at yet another ultra violent film with little to no story line? Eh, who cares. It will probably be entertaining either way.
